Start in Delhi and travel through Shimla, Chitkul, Nako, Gue, Key, Kibber, Kaza, Komik, Hikkim, Langza, Dhankar, and Kalpa on a fantastic winter experience through Spiti Valley. 3 Hours Before Flight Time
After arriving in Delhi, you must go to the AC Volvo bus boarding area so that you can travel from Delhi to Shimla overnight.
Transfer to the Last Village on the Indo-Tibetan Border, Chitkul Meet the agent when you arrive in Shimla; they will give you an overview of the tour and take you to Chitkul, which is the final village before the border between India and China. Travel through constantly shifting landscapes, which include apple orchards, wild terrain, and lush forests. Travel through Sarahan and Rampur Bushahr en route. Arrive at Chitkul so that you can eat at the “Hindustan ka Akhri Dhaba.” Register for an overnight stay at a hotel or homestay.
Turn the 500-Year-Old Yak Skin Prayer Wheel at Nako Nako After you check out of your Chitkul hotel, the driver will transport you to Nako, which is in the Trans-Himalayan region close to the Indo-China border. Travel the Indo-Tibet Highway after passing through the picturesque Kinnaur Valley. See the Khab Bridge, where the Spiti and Satluj Rivers converge. After reaching Nako, register and begin your
guided tour of the area with the driver. Spend the evening at Nako Lake and explore the peaceful Nako Monastery. Go back to your hotel and spend the night there.
The driver will pick you up after check-out and drive you to Kaza, a charming Spiti village. After passing Sumdo, take a right to view the 500-year-old mummy at Gue Monastery. Next, proceed to the Tabo Monastery, also known as the “Ajanta of the Himalayas.”Proceed in the direction of the Pin Valley National Park in hopes of seeing a snow leopard. Arrive in Kaza later and make your way to your hotel or homestay to spend the night.
Mail Postcards Stamped at the Summit of the World After picking you up from the hotel, the driver will give you a tour of Kaza’s sights. Visit Komik, the highest village in Asia, first. After that, you’ll go to Hikkim and see the tallest post office in the world. Visit the Lang Temple after you get to Langza Village. Visit the scenic Key Monastery after that, then proceed in the direction of the quaint Kibber Village. Visit the Chicham Bridge later on, then head back to your Kaza hotel for the Night.
Take in the Dhankar Monastery’s Gorgeous Architecture The driver will get you from the hotel after you check out and transport you back in the direction of Kalpa. While traveling, bear left to see the imposing Dhankar Monastery. Proceed in the direction of Kalpa and turn right at Powari to ReoKong Peo, the district center of Kinnaur. Arrive in Kalpa and make your way to your overnight camp or Homestay.
After leaving your homestay or camp in Kalpa, meet the driver to begin your journey to Shimla. To get to the capital city, take the twisting roads that follow the Satluj and pass by the gorgeous Deodhar forests. After being dropped off at the Shimla Bus Stop, where you will board a bus returning to Delhi, the journey comes to an end.
